MC Insurance Group is a husband and wife agency run by Michael and Sarah Began. When you call, text, or email, you reach one of us directly.
Close to 30 years in insurance, now working for you
Between the two of us, we bring close to 30 combined years of experience in the insurance industry. We both worked for major insurance carriers and learned how the business works from the inside.
We opened our own agency to help people who want a clearer understanding of their policy, honest advice on the coverage they need, or simply a better rate.
Geauga County is home
Michael was born and raised in Geauga County and graduated from West Geauga. Sarah grew up in Vienna, a small town in nearby Trumbull County.
Today we live in Chardon with our two boys, Michael and Colson, and our three dogs, Lucy, Zazel, and Louie. The boys are where the "MC" in MC Insurance Group comes from.
A veteran owned independent agency with no ties to one carrier
We work with multiple major insurance carriers. We shop your policy across them and show you the options that fit your situation and budget.
You reach one of us
Calls, texts, and emails go straight to Michael or Sarah. You won't sit in a call center queue.
Zero cost to you
The carriers pay us to sell and service your policy, the same way they would pay their own employees. Your rate is the same as going direct, and sometimes lower.
No pressure, ever
If we quote you and you decide not to move forward, there are no hard feelings. We're consumers too, and we understand.
Open weekdays, available after work
Monday through Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Evenings and weekends: by appointment. Send us a message ahead of time and we'll set up a time.
Most people work 9 to 5 and can't talk insurance during the day, so we make time when you're free.
